This petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner on the post of Electrician Instructor (Practical), category no.35, on account of having been selected as per final result dated 27.10.2022, Annexure P-10, pursuant to advertisement no.12 of 2019 dated 20.7.2019, Annexure P-1. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that at this stage the petitioner will be satisfied in case the respondents are directed to take a final decision in the matter. Since despite having been called for personal hearing on 15.11.2023, vide notice dated 9.11.2023, Annexure P-18, no decision has been taken.

Learned State counsel, appearing on advance notice, contends that appropriate decision in the matter will be taken and conveyed to the petitioner within two weeks.
