(ORAL) By way of present writ petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India read with section 482 CrPC, prayer has been made for issuance of writ in the nature of habeas corpus directing respondents No.2 and 3 to get the detenue-Ramandeep Kaur released from the detention of respondents No.4 to 9.

In pursuance to the last order Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur is present in Court and informs that the statement of Ramandeep Kaur d/o Balwinder Singh was recorded on 28.02.2024 wherein, she stated that she is residing at Tarn Taran out of her own wish and does not want to accompany the petitioner. In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the present petition.

Dismissed as not pressed.
