Petitioner, a senior citizen, who claims to be a social worker and a resident of USA, has filed the present petition praying therein to initiate appropriate proceedings against respondent No.5. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite repeated requests and written representation to official respondents, no action was initiated against private respondent No.5. Hence, the need to file the present petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that his only limited prayer is to direct official respondents to decide the representation of the petitioner expeditiously in accordance with law. 3.

Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Kamalpreet Bawa, DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents-State. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Raghvir Singh, P.S. Sadar Banga, intimates this Court that the representation of the petitioner has since been decided. Copy thereof, has been placed on record. 5.
