Apprehending threat to her life and liberty from private respondents (respondent No.4 being daughter-in-law of the petitioner), petitioner has filed the present petition with a prayer to direct official respondents to protect her life.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner limits his prayer to direct respondents No.2 and 3 to decide representation dated 06.09.2025 annexed as Annexure P-1 moved by petitioner.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Kamalpreet Bawa, DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents-State and has no objection in deciding the representation filed on behalf of the petitioner. 5.

Without commenting upon the merits of the case and in view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to decide the representation dated 06.09.2025 (Annexure P-1) within a period of four weeks.
