MANJARI NEHRU KAUL , J. (ORAL) Petitioners are seeking quashing of order dated 04.02.2023 (Annexure P-1) passed by learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barnala, whereby the petitioners had been declared as proclaimed offenders in case FIR No.248 dated 16.06.2018 under Section 420 of the IPC registered at Police Station City Barnala.

Learned counsel for the petitioners at the outset submits that the petitioners are ready and willing to appear and surrender before the trial Court. Hence, in the aforementioned facts and circumstances, petitioners be protected till their appearance before the trial Court. 3.

Notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Mohit Kapoor, Additional Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.1-State.

Mr. Balkar Singh, Advocate, has filed power of attorney on behalf of the complainant, which is taken on record. 6.

In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the instant petition is disposed of with directions to PUNEET SACHDEVA 2023.12.08 15:39 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document.

CRM-M-61619-2023 -2the petitioners to appear and surrender before the trial Court within ten days from today. Till then, no coercive steps be taken against the petitioner.

It is made clear that in case, the petitioners fail to surrender before the trial Court within ten days from today, this order shall be of no avail to them, thereafter.
