(Oral) The present petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.390, dated 24.09.2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B of IPC, registered at Police Station City Barnala, District Barnala. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner was only a clerk in the company and he was not instrumental in sanctioning of the loan and therefore, a false case has been registered against him in this case. On 20.01.2020, this Court had granted interim bail to the petitioner and had also directed him to join the investigation. Today, Mr.
Mehardeep Singh Dulat, Additional Advocate General, Punjab, on instructions from ASI Gurmail Singh, has stated that the petitioner, in pursuance of the order dated 20.01.2020, has already joined the investigation way back in the month of March, 2020, and he is fully co-operating with the investigation process and that he is no longer required for the custodial VIRENDRA SINGH ADHIKARI 2020.11.

In view of the above statement made by the learned State counsel, the present petition is allowed. Order dated 20.01.2020 is hereby made absolute.
