The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.522 dated, 18.07.2023 under Sections 147, 148, 149, 186, 352, 353, 341, 307, 427 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Urban Estate, Hisar (Annexure P-1).

Status report by way of an affidavit of Mr. Vinod Shankar, HPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Headquarter, Hisar has been filed by learned State counsel on behalf of respondent-State, which is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions.

Vide order dated 07.12.2023, this Court while granting the concession of interim anticipatory bail directed the petitioner to join investigation.

Learned State counsel on instructions from SI Chandi Ram submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is no longer required.

In light of the above, the present petition is allowed. The order dated 07.12.2023 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner, is made absolute. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so by the Investigating Agency, and shall abide by the conditions of Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
