The instant petition has been filed seeking issuance of direction to be issued to respondents No.1 to 3 to conduct a fair and impartial investigation and to file a final report expeditiously.

Pursuant to service of an advance notice, Mr. Siddharth Attri, AAG, Punjab, has put in appearance on behalf of the respondent - State. 3.

Learned State counsel, upon instructions from ASI Lakhwinder Singh, has informed that investigation has concluded and that a final report is expected to be presented within a period of about two weeks from today. 4.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court does not find any ground to issue any kind of direction as this stage.
