The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for issuance of appropriate writ, order or direction most appropriately in the nature of mandamus directing the official respondents to ensure the safety and security to life and liberty of the petitioners, which is in danger owing to continuous threat being extended by the private respondents and their accomplices. It is stated in the petition that the petitioner No.1 has already made representation dated 03.09.2025 (Annexure P-2) before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur, Punjab raising the said grievances, but no action has been taken so far. 2.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners would be satisfied if appropriate directions are issued to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur, MOHIT 2025.09.30 18:19 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

In view of the above, without commenting anything on the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of at this stage with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the aforesaid representation dated 03.09.2025 (Annexure P-2) of the petitioner No.1 within a period of 30 days from today, by passing a speaking order in accordance with law.
