Petitioner prays for pre-arrest in a criminal case arising out of FIR No. 101 dated 11.10.2019, registered under Section 61 of Punjab Excise Act, 1914 at Police Station Kathgarh, District S.B.S.Nagar. As per the case of prosecution, petitioner was found smuggling in the State of Punjab 2400 bottles of liquor for which excise duty was paid for Chandigarh only.

In view thereof, this Court is not inclined to grant pre-arrest bail.

Dismissed.
