Having heard learned counsel for the parties; in view of averments made in the application and considering the fact that petitioner, who happens to be an old and suffering from various ailments, the prayer is allowed and the date of hearing of the main case is preponed for today. Applications is disposed of.
CRM-M-61763-2023 In continuation of order dated 08.12.2023, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is even ready to deposit a sum of Rs.75,000/- as security with the concerned Panchayat without prejudice to his rights in the trial.

In the meanwhile, petitioner will join investigation before the Investigating Officer as and when called and shall deposit a sum of Rs.75,000/- as security with the concerned Panchayat. In the event of his arrest, the Arresting Officer would admit him to interim bail, till the next date of hearing, on his furnishing adequate bail bonds/ surety bonds to his satisfaction. The petitioner is directed to abide by all the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973."
