Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking pre-arrest bail in:- FIR No.

Dated Police Station Sections 07.09.2021 City Rampura, District Bathinda 354 and 323 IPC (Later on Section 325 IPC was added) 2.

While granting interim protection to the petitioner, this Court passed the following order on 20.11.2024:- "Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by this Court, which was made absolute vide order dated 08.03.2022, Annexure P-2. She submits that offence under Section 325 of IPC has been added later on.

Notice of motion.

Petitioner is directed to join the investigation on 02.12.2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Police Station City Rampura, District Bathinda and cooperate with the Investigation Agency. In the event of arrest, he shall be admitted to interim bail on his furnishing personal and surety bonds to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. He shall also abide by the conditions as specified under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C."

Upon instructions received from HC, Jagdeep Singh, State counsel submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation pursuant to order dated 20.11.2024 passed by this Court. He has cooperated with the Investigating Agency and he is no longer required for custodial interrogation. 4.

In view of the above, but without commenting upon the merits of the allegations, petition is allowed. Order dated 20.11.2024 is made absolute, subject to satisfaction of conditions laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
