The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India is seeking direction to the respondents to release family pension @ 50% of last drawn pay instead of 25% of last drawn pay of her husband.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that grievance of the petitioner, at this stage, would be redressed, if the respondents are directed to decide legal notice dated 29.08.2023 (Annexure P-6). 3.

Learned State counsel assures the Court that the competent authority would look into the matter and pass an appropriate order within three months from today.
