The instant petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.82 dated 30.05.2025 registered under Sections 420, 120-B of IPC and Section 24 of Immigration Act, at Police Station Dirba, District Sangrur. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter has been compromised between the parties. It is further submtited that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is no more required in this case.

Status report dated 26.10.2025 by way of an affidavit of Ms. Rupinder Kaur PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Dirba has been filed by learned State counsel and the same is taken on record. Learned State counsel has not refuted the aforesaid assertions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and, on instructions from ASI Gursharan Singh further submits that the petitioner is not required by the police for further investigation or custodial interrogation. 5.
Mr. V.D. Sharma, Advocate alongwith Mr. Vishesh Sharma, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of the complainant and has filed Vakalatnama, which is taken on record. He has admitted that factum of compromise.

In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and order of interim bail dated 29.09.2025 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions as provided under Section 482(2) of the BNSS, 2023.
