DEEPAK GUPTA , J.(Oral) By way of this petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C., petitioner prays for grant of regular bail in case FIR No.227 dated 07.08.2023, under Sections 406, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B of IPC, registered at Police Station City Kharar, District S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali) on the basis of the compromise.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the matter has been compromised between the parties. Copy of the compromise deed is Annexure P-4.

It is also contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that co-accused Sukhdeep Kaur has already been allowed bail by this Court vide order dated 07.12.2023 passed in CRM-M-60540-2023. 4.

Mr. Parneet Singh Pandher, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State. Mr. Rahul Rampal, Advocate has filed his Vakalatnama on behalf of respondent No.2-complainant-Gurmukh Singh and admitted the factum of compromise.

In view of the aforesaid factual position, but without commenting anything on the merits of the case, the petitioner is admitted to bail. He is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing requisite bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of learned Trial Court/Duty Magistrate concerned, on usual terms and conditions. Allowed.
