On 16.12.2024 the following order was passed : 'The present appeal pertains to the year 2020. Repeatedly the case was adjourned on the request of the learned counsel for the appellants. On 16.05.2024 the following order was passed :

RSA-221-2020 (O&M) -2of the execution proceedings. Copy of the order be communicated to the Court concerned'.

Today despite the matter being called since morning none has put in appearance on behalf of the appellants though an adjournment slip has been circulated on the ground that the counsel is in personal difficulty. Though no ground is made out to further adjourn the matter, however, in the interest of justice, adjourned to 11.08.2025 subject to payment of ₹5,000 as costs to be deposited in the Lawyers' Welfare Fund, Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.

It is once again made clear that pendency of the present appeal shall not be an impediment in the continuation of the execution proceedings. Copy of this order be communicated to the Executing Court concerned.' 2.

Today again, despite the matter being called twice since morning, none has put in appearance on behalf of the appellants though Registry had informed the learned counsel for the appellants of the date fixed. Costs also have not been deposited. It appears that the appellants are not interested in pursuing the present appeal.

3.

In view thereof, this Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the present appeal for non-prosecution. 4.

Dismissed for non-prosecution. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
