Prayer made in the petition reads thus:

'In view of the submissions made above, it is, therefore, respectfully prayed that present petition may kindly be accepted and for the reasons indicated above, and necessary directions may kindly be issued to respondent nos. 2 and 3 for taking appropriate legal action in case FIR No. 158 dated 24.05.2023 U/s 406/420 IPC, P.S. City Kharar, Mohali as despite registration of the FIR which was deliberately registered only against accused-respondent no. 5 whereas, other Directors along with the authorized representative as well as the Sub Registrar, Mohali i.e. respondent no. 6 to 10 were equally liable and responsible for the fraudulent acts of the said company and therefore, they were also liable to be booked in the said matter however, more than 01 year have passed, but police has neither completed the investigation nor any steps have been taken to conclude the same and through the instant petition, the petitioners crave indulgence of this Hon'ble Court to kindly issue directions to respondents no.2 and 3 to complete the investigation and to submit the challan expeditiously.'
