(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3, to protect the life and liberty of petitioner and his family members, who apprehend threat to their life at the hands of private respondents No.5 to 7 in case FIR No.134 dated 05.09.2023 under Sections 323, 341, 325, 506, 34 of the IPC registered at Police Station Rori, District Sirsa.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer for issuance of directions to respondent No.2-Superintendent of Police, Dabwali, District Sirsa, to look into the representation dated 25.10.2023 (Annexure P-7) of the petitioner and take appropriate steps in accordance with law.
