Present petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, for quashing of FIR No.27 dated 20.02.2025 under Section 316(3) of BNS, registered at Police Station Sadar Dhuri, District Sangrur. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that he wishes to withdraw his prayer for quashing of the FIR and has submitted that the investigation in the present case has been pending for the last ten months and, therefore, confined his prayer that directions be issued to the investigating agency for completion of investigation expeditiously. 3.

Learned State counsel has submitted that he has no objection in case the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner is accepted. 4.

Keeping in view the limited prayer of the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with direction to investigating agency to complete the investigation expeditiously.
