RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Petitioner has approached this Court praying for issuance of direction to the official respondents to decide the legal notice, Annexure P-2, in a time-bound manner and to get the illegal possession vacated from the private respondents over the land in question and further to correct the revenue records regarding the same which is not being done despite the directions issued by respondent No.1-learned Financial Commissioner Revenue, Punjab vide its order dated 24.03.2008, Annexure P-1. It is further prayed to direct the official respondents to complete the inquiry within a stipulated time frame as private respondents are in illegal possession over the suit land.

Notice of motion to official respondents only at this stage. On the asking of the Court, Ms.Akshita Chauhan, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State.
