(ORAL) Prayer in this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing of FIR No. 157 dated 14.12.2020 registered under Sections 363, 366-A IPC (Annexure P-1) at Police Station Julkan, District Patiala alongwith all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on merits. On the last date of hearing, learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Balwinder Singh had informed this Court that cancellation report has been prepared in the present matter and as such the matter was adjourned for today.

Today, learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Sawinder Singh, informs that the cancellation report has now been filed before the learned trial Court on 13.05.2024 and the next date of hearing in the trial Court is 24.05.2024.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition. Permitted to do so.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
