This is a civil writ petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents No.3 to 5 to supply/give the information sought vide application dated 13.03.2023 (Annexure P-1) to the petitioner under the RTI Act, 2005.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the second statutory appeal of the petitioner dated 29.05.2023 (Annexure P-4) has been filed before respondent No.3 and the same has not been decided till date. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has further submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied in case respondent No.3-Chief Information Commissioner, Haryana, is directed to consider and decide the second statutory appeal of the petitioner dated 29.05.2023 (Annexure P-4), as expeditiously as possible, in a time bound manner. Keeping in view the above facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Chief Information Commissioner, Haryana, to consider and decide the second statutory appeal of the petitioner dated 29.05.2023 (Annexure P-4), as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of four months, from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

It is made clear that this Court has not considered the merits of the case and respondent No.3, would consider the appeal independently, in accordance with law.
