(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No. 128 dated 25.03.2017 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 427 and 506 IPC (Section 120-B IPC added later on) at Police Station Sector-5 Panchkula and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 24.10.2019 (Annexure P-2) effected in between the parties. Pursuant to order dated 06.01.2020 of this Court, the parties appeared before the Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Panchkula, on 27.01.2020 to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Panchkula, has submitted her report vide letter No. 54 dated 29.01.2020, duly forwarded by the learned District and Sessions Judge, Panchkula, vide letter No. 347 dated 30.01.2020. CRM-M-55524-2019 -2According to the report, learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Panchkula, is satisfied that compromise effected between the parties is genuine, voluntarily and with their own free will. In compliance of order dated 06.01.2020, photocopy of receipt duly attested by learned counsel for the petitioners regarding deposit of costs of `20,000/- has also been produced in Court today. The same is taken on record. Be tagged at appropriate place. Considering the report of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Panchkula, dated 29.01.2020 and deposit of costs as well as the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony between the parties, aforesaid FIR No. 128 dated 25.03.2017 (Annexure P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed, qua the petitioners only.

Registry is directed to verify deposit of aforesaid costs, with the concerned quarter.
