Mr. Ajeet Pal Singh Pakka, Advocate for the petitioners. PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) By way of present petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioners are seeking issuance of directions to the official respondents to protect their life and liberty at the hands of respondents No.3 to 6.

As per the petitioners, they have married on 06.12.2023 against the wishes of respondents No.3 to 6, who happen to be the family members/ relatives of petitioner No.1 i.e. Preeti Rani. 5.

Both the petitioners have claimed themselves to be major relying upon their Matriculation Certificates indicating that petitioner No.1Preeti Rani is 01.10.2003 born and petitioner No.2-Udey Verma is 10.11.2003 born.

Without commenting on the legality and validity of the Deepak Kumar 2023.12.11 04:46 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRWP-11913-2023 -22023:PHHC:157914 marriage, I deem it appropriate to direct respondent No.2 (Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda) to look into the representation dated 06.12.2023 (Annexure P-5) submitted by the petitioners. 7.

Keeping in view the fact that both the petitioners claim to have married, I think that if possible, respondent No.2 may call a meeting of the petitioners as well as respondents No.3 to 6 in his presence, so that the parties get rid off their ill feelings and live amicably. 8.

The petition stands disposed off.
