Tribhuvan Dahiya, J (Oral) The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the promotion order, dated 17.06.2016, Annexure P-7A, qua the petitioner as he was eligible and qualified for promotion with effect from 25.12.2008.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that grievance raised herein is pending for appropriate decision before the second respondent. At this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied in case the second respondent is directed to decide his pending legal notice dated 07.09.2024, Annexure P-13, in a specified period.

Learned State counsel, appearing on advance notice, submits that the pending legal notice, dated 07.09.2024, will be decided by the second respondent-Director Secondary Education, by passing a speaking order, in accordance with law, within three months.
