(Oral) The present first petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case bearing FIR No.498 dated 03.07.2025 registered under Sections 3(5), 309(4), 351(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959 [Section 238(a) BNS and Section 29 of Arms Act, 1959 were added later on] at Police Station Sadar Karnal, District Karnal. 2.

Comprehensive status report dated 04.02.2026 by way of an affidavit of Sandeep Kumar, HPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Headquarters, Karnal has already been filed on behalf of the respondent/State. The same is taken on record.

After arguing the matter at some length, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks withdrawal of the present petition at this stage. 4.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn at this stage.
