Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents - authorities to release the amount of gratuity and salary of late Jodh Singh especially in view of letter/direction dated 22.12.2020 (Annexure P-2) along with future interest. Further prayer has been made to direct the respondents - authorities to decide the legal notice/representation dated 30.09.2024/18.10.2024 (Annexure P-5).

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for claiming the aforesaid relief, the petitioner has submitted a legal notice dated 30.09.2024 (posted on 18.10.2024) (Annexure P-5) and at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied, if the said legal notice is decided by passing a speaking order within a time bound frame. 3.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and have gone through the record of the case.

Without going into the merits of the case at this stage, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 to consider and decide the legal notice dated 30.09.2024 (posted on 18.10.2024) (Annexure P-5), submitted by the petitioner expeditiously, by passing a speaking order, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
