(Oral) The petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of BNSS for issuance of writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus to direct the official respondents to get the minor Gurfateh Singh released from the custody of respondent No.4. 2.

In continuation of the earlier order dated 08.04.2025, report of the Child Counsellor has been received today, which is taken on record. As per her opinion, the child has an emotional bond with his father. The child is found to be well looked after by his father, so no further order is required to be passed in that regard. However, it is in the best interest of the child that the maternal grandparents shall also meet the child at least thrice in a month in a child friendly atmosphere. Moreover, the father of the child shall also make arrangements with regard to communication of the child with her mother at least once in a week.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of. However, the parties are at liberty to avail their remedies as available to them with regard to custody of the child.
