This petition has been filed under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, seeking anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.93, dated 02.05.2023, under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 IPC registered at Police Station Civil Lines, District Amritsar. 2.

On 25.11.2024, the following order was passed:- "XX XX XX XX Learned counsel for the petitioner argued that he is falsely implicated in this case. In the aforesaid FIR, registered on the written complaint of Ramesh Kumar Mehta, matter is civil in nature. He is relying upon investigation report dated 06.04.2022 (Annexure P-3) where it was confirmed that no police intervention was required. Co-accused Rohit Kumar has been granted anticipatory bail in CRM-M-37226-2023 vide order dated 05.09.2023 (Annexpure P-4) whereas other co-accused Ashok Kumar Mehta alias Ashok Mehta is also granted MOHD YAKUB 2025.01.29 18:37 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court at Chandigarh

CRM-M-58266-2024 interim anticipatory bail in CRM-M-59753-2023 vide order dated 05.12.2023 (Annexure P-5). He is ready to join the investigation.

On asking of this Court, Mr. Kewal Singh, Addl.A.G. Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of State.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let status report be filed.

Considering the aforesaid factual position, arrest of petitioner is stayed subject to joining of his investigation." 3.

Learned State counsel has filed status report by way of affidavit of Arvind Meena, Assistant Commissioner of Police, North, Amritsar today in the Court which is taken on record and on instructions from SI Dilbag Singh, at the very outset, informs the Court that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is not required.

In view of the statement of learned State counsel, order dated 25.11.2024 is hereby made absolute. The petitioner shall abide by the terms and conditions envisaged under Section 482(2) of BNSS (erstwhile Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973). 5.

The petition stands disposed of.
