The present petition has been filed inter alia praying for quashing of order dated 31.10.2023 (Annexure P-4) passed by Ld. Additional Sessions Judge, Ludhiana, whereby, the bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 12.05.2023 (Annexure P-2) has been cancelled and the non-bailable warrants have been issued. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was granted the concession of regular bail on 12.05.2023 and he has been regularly attending the Court proceedings, however, inadvertently, he had noted the date of 21.11.2023 instead of 31.10.2023 and hence, could not put in appearance, due to which the impugned order has been passed. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that, in fact, the petitioner was granted the concession of exemption from personal appearance on 13.10.2023 and the matter was fixed for compliance of PARUL 2023.12.12 18:54 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Section 207 of Cr.P.C. on the date fixed.

Mr. Siddharth Attri, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State.

Considering the fact that seeking of reply by the State shall only procrastinate the trial, the present petition stands disposed of, by imposing cost of Rs. 5,000/- upon the petitioner which shall be deposited with Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Clerks Association, within 15 days from today.

The petitioner is directed to surrender before the trial Court on or before 20.12.2023 and shall be released on bail by furnishing fresh bail bonds.
