The learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that the appeal, preferred by the petitioner, is pending before the First Appellate Court. But neither the appeal is being taken up for final disposal nor the application for grant of interim protection has been decided. The appeal is stated to be pending for hearing before the First Appellate Court on 31.05.2022.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the revision petition is disposed of by directing the First Appellate Court to either decide the appeal or the application for grant of interim protection, in accordance with law, within a period of one month, from today.

In the meantime, the interim order dated 08.01.2020 shall continue to operate.
