 Present writ petition has been filed for directing respondents No.1 to 3 for restraining respondents No.8 to 16 from constructing any illegal barrier in the land of petitioners at the behest of respondents No.8 to 16 and other relatives/friends and notorious persons and for directing respondents No.4 to 7 to take appropriate action against respondents No.8 to 16 for obstruction in the natural flow of water of river Beas by constructing illegal barrier in the lands of petitioners. Learned counsel for the petitioners fairly submits that despite the order passed by the Civil Court, the barriers have been erected in violation of the same. He submits that the petitioners have also filed the contempt petition for the same.
