RITU BAHRI ACJ. (Oral) Petitioner is aggrieved to the letter dated 06.12.2023 (Annexure P-4) vide which his admission has been cancelled on the ground that he has not fulfilled the basic qualification required for LLB (three years) course.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got 44.61% marks in B.A. and as per the rules of the Punjab Law Admission, 2023, 45% marks are required to get the admission.

Notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Mr. H.S. Batth, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2 and submits that this condition of minimum requirement of 45% marks has been laid down by the Bar Council as well as Government of India vide Notification dated 14.02.2023.
