On 14.12.2023, the following order was passed by this Court:- "The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent No. 2 to re-issue his passport. Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that correct date of birth of the petitioner is 15.11.1954, whereas in the passport, it has been recorded as 20.01.1943. There is a spelling mistake in the name of the petitioner. There was an FIR against the petitioner and he has already been acquitted in the said FIR. Notice of motion, returnable for 15.01.2024.
