Present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the lives and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondent No.4. 2.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners requests for an adjournment on the ground that the arguing counsel is not available. 3.

However, in pursuance of advance notice, learned State counsel appears on behalf of respondent-State and contended that in the present matter, representation dated 29.09.2025 (Annexure P-7) moved by the petitioners has been looked into and enquiry by the DSP level officer has been conducted in this matter and representation has already been decided on 02.12.2025.

Upon perusal of previous orders dated 16.10.2025, 30.10.2025, 22.12.2025 and 14.01.2026, it reveals that the matter was adjourned on the request of learned counsel for the petititoners and today also, request for adjournment has been made by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners.

Keeping in view the contention raised by learned State counsel that representation has already been decided on 02.12.2025, therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in the instant petition. Hence, the present petition is dismissed.
