Prayer made in the present petition for quashing the order dated 12.09.2024 vide which the petitioner has been declared proclaimed person in case FIR No.0034 dated 04.02.2019, under Sections 379, 411, 473 IPC registered at Police Station Cantonment Police Commissionerate, Amritsar. 2.
Short reply dated 19.02.2026 of Assistant Commissioner of Police, West, Amritsar has been filed by learned State counsel, which is taken on record. He refers to para 8 and 9 whereof, which read thus: "8. That the deponent humbly submits that as the present petition stood declared proclaimed person in the present case as well as in the aforesaid case FIR No.232 dated 25.12.2018 (supra), hence the present petitioner was arrested on 10.10.2025 and was produced before the learned Court of Area Judicial Magistrate and he has been released on bail vide order dated 06.11.2025 passed in the aforesaid case FIR No.232 dated 25.12.2018 (supra) passed by the learned Court of Judicial Magistrate First Class, Amritsar.

CRM-M-56031-2025 (O&M) -2case FIR No.34 dated 04.02.2019 (supra) is now pending for trial before the learned Court of Judicial Magistrate First Class, Amritsar. The present petitioner has appeared before the learned trial Court and next date is now fixed on 13.03.2026 for consideration on charge before the learned trial Court."
