This order shall dispose of present petition for grant of anticipatory bail filed by the petitioner, an accused in case FIR No.96 dated 05.04.2025 under Section 316(2) of BNS registered at P.S City Ferozepur, District Ferozepur. 2.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Sukhdev Raj, submits that the petitioner has since joined the investigation and is no longer required for further custodial interrogation. 3.

Heard.

On 01.10.2025, following order was passed by this Court: "Apprehending his arrest in FIR No. 96 dated 05.04.2025 registered for offences punishable under Sections 316(2) of the BNS at Police Station City Ferozepur, District Ferozepur; the petitioner has preferred this petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 seeking pre-arrest bail.

Inter alia contends that the petitioner has been falsely implicated into the FIR in question; the vehicle in question already stands handed over on superdari to one Satnam Singh; no effective recovery has been made from the petitioner & the petitioner is willing to join the investigation and cooperate therein. Notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Gaurav Gurcharan S. Rai, Sr. DAG, Punjab appears and accepts notice on behalf of the respondentState. Adjourned to 10.11.2025.

CRM-M-56065-2025 The petitioner is directed to appear before the Investigating Officer on 09.10.2025 at 11:00 A.M. in concerned Police Station and join investigation. In the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on interim bail subject to his furnishing personal/surety bond(s) to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/Investigating Officer. As and when further called by Investigating Officer, the petitioner shall join the investigation. He shall abide by the condition(s) enumerated under Section 482(2) of the BNSS, 2023" 5.

Keeping in view the above submissions advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner as also the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation, interim bail granted vide order dated 01.10.2025 is hereby confirmed, subject to conditions as envisaged under Section 482(2) BNSS. Further the petitioner is directed to join investigation as and when required in future by way of written notice for such purpose to be served by Investigating Officer of this case upon the petitioner; he will not tamper with the evidence nor will influence the witnesses and will not leave the country without prior permission of the Court. 6.

The petition stands allowed.
