Vide order dated 14.12.2023, notice of motion had been issued and the petitioners were directed to appear in the Court. 2.

As per the office report, respondents No. 4 to 6 have been duly served, however, there is no representation on behalf of them. 3.

In compliance of order dated 14.12.2023, learned State counsel has filed the status report by way of an affidavit of Mr. Satinder Singh, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, District Amritsar (Rural) on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 3 in Court today, which is taken on record. 4.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Angrej Singh submits that the representation (Annexure P-3) has been looked into and the statements of father, mother and uncle of petitioner No. 1 have been recorded and the statements of petitioners have also been recorded and there is no threat perception to the petitioners as of now. In light of the above, the present petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondents No. 2 & 3 to ensure the protection of the petitioners in accordance with law.
