DEEPAK GUPTA , J.(Oral) Grievance of the petitioner is that at his instance, FIR No.109 dated 21.11.2023 was registered at Police Station Khamano, District Fatehgarh Sahib, under Sections 323, 324, 506, 148, 149 IPC (Section 307 IPC added later on) against private respondents. Ever since the date of registration of the FIR, the accused persons and their family members are threatening the petitioner and his family members and not even allowing minor children to come out of home, due to which minor children of the petitioner are not even able to go to school and they are living in the constant state of fear. Petitioner has even made a representation to respondent No.2Senior Superintendent of Police, Fatehgarh Sahib in this regard, but no action has been taken.

Notice of motion to respondent Nos.1 to 3 only. Mr. Parneet Singh Pandher, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3.

This petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Fatehgarh Sahib to immediately respond to the representation (Annexure P-2) and after assessing the threat perception to the petitioner and his family members, provide necessary protection to them.
