Present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for directing respondent No.3 to relieve the petitioner from the post of SHO, PGIMS, Rohtak and enable him to join at new place of posting, District Rewari, pursuant to transfer order dated 11.11.2024 (P-5).

At the outset, leaned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Sunil Kumar, apprised the Court that in terms of the order dated 11.11.2024, petitioner stands relieved by the office of Superintendent of Police, Rohtak and, he has even joined at the new place of posting, i.e. Rewari.

In view of the above development, learned Senior counsel, on instructions, submits that present petition be disposed off as not pressed "at this stage".
