The present petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case bearing FIR No. 113 dated 14.04.2023, registered at Police Station Sadar Gohana, District Sonipat, under Sections 354-A and 506 of the IPC and Sections 8 and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. 2.

A reply dated, 09.01.2024, by way of an affidavit of Sh. Somvir Singh, HPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Gohana-II, Sonipat, has been filed by learned State counsel in Court today. The same is taken on record. 3.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the trial is almost complete as the prosecution witnesses have been examined and now the case is fixed for today for defence evidence and arguments. 4.

Faced with the above situation, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition. 5.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
