The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of charge sheet (Annexure P-2) and consequential proceedings.

The petitioner has been implicated in FIR No. 81 dated 01.04.2021, under Sections 409, 120-B of IPC and Section 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, registered at Police Station Jandiala, District Amritsar Rural. The respondent has initiated enquiry against him. He claims that proceedings before Enquiry Officer may be kept in abeyance till the conclusion of trial arising out of afore-stated FIR. 3.
