On 15.12.2023, the following order was passed by this Court:- "The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of order whereby allotment of paddy to the petitioner has been rejected.

Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that respondents have not issued registration certificate to the petitioner on the ground that provisional approval dated 20.10.2022 has expired on 20.10.2023, thus, petitioner is required to apply for fresh provisional approval.

Notice of motion, returnable for 19.03.2024.

Mr. Shiv Kumar, Advocate, submits that appellate authority has reiterated findings of adjudicating authority. Concededly, the milling season is over, however, petitioner may be considered for the next season on the basis of provisional approval dated 20.10.2022. 3.

Mr. Aman Dhir, DAG, Punjab, submits that respondents would consider provisional approval dated 20.10.2022 in the next season subject to compliance of other terms and conditions of the policy including any new or amended condition in the policy.

Mr. Shiv Kumar, Advocate, agrees to the aforesaid arrangement. 5.

In the wake of statement of both sides, the petition stands disposed of.
