Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners, but without commenting anything as regards merits of the case or as regards veracity of averments made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2 - Superintendent of Police, Ambala to look into the matter and to get the representation dated 8.6.2024 (Annexure P-12) examined to the limited extent of alleged threat perception of the petitioner. In case, it is found that there is any gunine threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner, then necessary steps as may be warranted under law be taken thereupon at the earliest so as to ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioners in any manner.

A copy of this order alongwith copies of representation dated 8.6.2024 (Annexure P-12) be sent to respondent No.2 - Superintendent of Police, Ambala for necessary compliance.
