(Oral) This petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to allow the petitioners to continue in service till regular appointments are made on the posts they are working against.

Learned State counsel, on instructions, submits that the petition has been rendered infructuous in terms of letter/instructions, dated 19.12.2023, whereby the persons who were engaged against Outsourcing Policy Part-II have been allowed to remain in service till 31.12.2024. 3.

In view thereof, the petition stands disposed of having been rendered infructuous.
