The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India are seeking direction to the respondents to consider them for promotion on the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that grievance of the petitioner, at this stage, would be redressed, if the respondents in terms of communications dated 12.09.2023 and 03.11.2023 (Annexures P-10 & P-13) are directed to decide their representation dated 25.10.2023 (Annexure P-12) in a time bound manner.

Learned State counsel submits that the competent authority would look into the grievance of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order within two months from today.
