On 20.12.2023, the following order was passed by this Court:- "The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to re-issue him passport.

Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that an FIR No. 74 dated 21.05.2003, under Sections 307, 323, 341, 506, 149 of IPC was registered against the petitioner at Police Station, Balachaur, District Nawanshahr/SBS Nagar. The petitioner was convicted and he preferred CRA-S-2285-SB of 2009 before this Court. The petitioner has been released on probation.
