Main Case:- The prayer in the present petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 is for the quashing of the order dated 05.04.2025 (Annexure P-) passed in FIR No.70 dated 25.08.2023 under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 of IPC, 1860 registered at Police Station Ghanie Ke Bangar, Police District Batala, District Gurdaspur.

On 11.02.2026, the following order was passed:- "The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that a compromise has been arrived at between the parties and a KUSUM 2026.05.15 16:52 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document PHHC Chandigarh
CRM-M-57489-2025 (O&M) -2criminal miscellaneous petition bearing No.CRM-M-242102025 stands filed seeking quashing of the FIR on the basis of a compromise. In fact, when the petitioner had gone to get recorded his statement in support of the compromise dated 19.03.2025, he came to know that he had been declared a proclaimed offender vide order dated 05.04.2025 which order has been challenged in the present petition.
Notice of motion for 21.04.2026.
In the meantime, the operation of the impugned order dated 05.04.2025 (Annexure P-3) shall remain stayed." 3.
In deference to the aforementioned order, the petitioner has appeared before the concerned Court in a connected petition i.e. CRM-M24210-2025 seeking quashing of the FIR on the basis of a compromise and has effectively joined proceedings.

In view of the aforementioned facts, the order dated 05.04.2025 (Annexure P3) stands quashed, subject to the payment of Rs.50,000/- to be deposited with Punjab and Haryana High Court Diespensary Welfare Fund, State Bank of India, Account No.45115269583, Sector 16, Chandigarh.

All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, stand disposed of.
