Present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 for issuance of a direction to official respondent No.3 not to conduct repeated or multiple enquiry on the complaint filed by respondent No.6, as the same is found upon identical allegations which have already been duly enquired into, as on the basis of the same set of allegations, a detailed enquiry was earlier conducted by the competent authority.

Mr. Subhash Godara, Addl. A.G., Punjab, puts in appearance as advance copy of petition had been served to respondent-State. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Gurnam Singh, submits that the complaint filed by the complainant is enquired into and the same has been consigned. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition may be disposed of in terms of the statement made by learned State counsel.
