(Oral) The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been preferred by the petitioner seeking direction to respondent Nos.2 to 4 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of respondent Nos.5 to 9. 2.
It is, inter alia, contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner got registered an FIR bearing No.177 dated 04.12.2023 under Section 295-A IPC at Police Station Doraha, Police District Khanna against respondent No.6 and consequent thereto, he was arrested and later on was granted the concession of bail. He submits that thereafter the petitioner has been apprehending threat to his life and liberty and he had moved a representation dated 07.12.2023 (Annexure P-1) and again on 10.12.2023 (Annexure P-3) before respondent Nos.2 and 3, but till date no action thereon has been taken. He submits that for the purpose of this petition, the petitioner will be satisfied if directions are given to respondent No.3 to consider and dispose of the representation dated 10.12.2023 (Annexure P-3) in accordance with law in an expeditious manner. 3.
